Forty years ago, Taiwan relied almost entirely on imported fragrance raw materials. Minimum order quantities from overseas suppliers often reached hundreds of kilograms, posing a major challenge for a startup. Through self-learning, relentless experimentation, and collaboration with international fragrance company, Mr. Tseng gradually built his expertise. Rooted Locally, Reaching Globally: Taiwanese Florals on the World Stage
Rather than chasing trends in Europe and the U.S., Mr. Tseng chose to focus on the natural beauty around him. He firmly believes,the fragrance of Taiwanese flowersrivals that of Western roses and jasmine and deserves global recognition. Rain or shine, he traveled across Taiwan researching native flora, eventually developing 25 distinctive Taiwanese floral scents. This marked the first time Taiwanese flowers took center stage in global perfumery, creating a shared olfactory memory for the people of Taiwan and offering the world a new way to experience the island.

With four decades of industry experience, Mr. Tseng sees knowledge-sharing as a responsibility. He actively engages with media, delivers lectures at universities, and offers professional courses in perfumery and scent education.
